an English-Speaking Home Childcare
Happy Nest is a cosy place where children aged between 15 months and 3 years can safely and happily play together under the careful supervision of Giovanna.
In the group there will be maximum 5 children. The advantages of a small home childcare, such as Happy Nest, is that every child will receive a more personalized attention, will settle in more easily and faster, will stay in a familiar environment and will have a lower risk to get sick compared to large crowded nurseries.
In Happy Nest, the toddlers will stay in a bright and beautiful house with a lovely and safe garden. In the house they will have their own play room with high quality toys.
Every day, the children will find a different pedagogical activity like: music, dance, theatre, painting, singing, water games, manipulation of different materials, cognitive games and many others.

Happy Nest ?
Happy Nest is located in the beautiful and green area of Osdorf, in Hamburg.
It is only 800 meters from the International School of Hamburg, so if you have older siblings there, you will be able to drop them off and then come to Happy Nest by foot.
Happy Nest is in a detached house, completely at ground level and freshly renovated.
The garden is completely enclosed and the children will find a playhouse, a baby activity gym with slide, a sand pit, a water play station, a small table with benches, little ride-on cars, balls and many other toys.

Every morning in Happy Nest, Giovanna, with her two sweet cats Simba and Yuma, will welcome you and your child with a smile.
Giovanna is the pedagogist and child minder of Happy Nest. She has more than 30 years of experience in the education of young children, of pre-scholar age. She worked in Italy, England and Germany as teacher in different nurseries, home childcare and toddler groups.
Giovanna De Giuli Morghen is 53 years old and comes from Milan (Italy). She is married and has 3 children aged 18, 22 and 24.
Giovanna is a professional child minder with a regular certificate from the Kindertagespflegebörse (Child minder office) in Hamburg.
She has a master degree in Experimental Pedagogy and an High School Diploma in Foreign Languages. She also followed a training course for Tagesmutter (Child minder) in Hamburg and a pediatric first aid and hygiene course.
Giovanna can easily comunicate with parents that come from different countries because she speaks English, Italian, German, Spanish and French. With the children she will always speak English.
